South Tarn Gites a self catering holiday  situated near Lautrec Village in the Tarn, South West France. It's a perfect location for lovers of the countryside. A short stroll down the drive is a circular walking and cycling trail; closeby is a bridle path linking local towns, Castres and Albi.

The nearby medieval bastide village of Lautrec has restaurants, bars and shops, Aquaval outdoor swimming pool, regular summer events and free live music evenings. Just a short drive away is Castres and Realmont both have bustling market days on Saturday and Wednesday. Great place to stay for families of all ages.

Albi(30kms)is the capital city of the Tarn region and has the largest red brick built cathedral in Europe. Its home to the famous Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, housing a major collection of the artist's work.

There are two gites for hire. The first has 2 bedrooms, one with a balcony and sleeps 4. The second has one bedroom with ensuite facilities and sleeps 2(possibly more for extra charge). Both open plan kitchen/dining/living space, and have their own terrace and bbq areas. Facilities include Satellite TV,CD,DVD and Wifi. Bicycles for hire. Linen is provided. Evening meals are available by prior arrangement.
